Karolina Mikołajczyk, a prize winner of many violin and chamber music competitions in Poland and abroad. At the moment she is studying violin at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, alongside with prof. Andrzej Gębski and d. Janusz Wawrowski. In the 2013/2014 academic year she was a student of Hochschule fur Musik und Tanz in Cologne in the class of prof. Zakhar Bron (he raised many world-renowned soloists such as Maxim Vengerov and Vadim Repin).
She participated in masterclasses with: prof. Zakhar Bron, prof. Ingolf Turban, prof. Wolfgang Marschner, prof. Sergey Kravchenko, prof. Igor Frolov, prof. Petru Munteanu, prof. Konstanty Andrzej Kulka, prof. F. Leofredi, prof. Z. Zienkowskiego, prof. M. Grabarczyk, prof. M. Urbaniak – Lisik, prof. D. Głowacka- Pitet.
As a soloist she performed in the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, The Oslo Opera House, Teatr Wielki - National Opera in Warsaw, Philharmonic in Rzeszów, Haus der Insel in Norderney. She collaborated with conductors such as Tadeusz Wicherek, Czesław Grabowski, Bard Monsen. She performed at many festivals, e.g. Riehen (Switzerland), Valdress (Norway), Hinterzarten (Germany), Łańcut (Poland). In 2012 she received a prestigious scholarship of the Ministry of Culture – “Young Poland” – the award for the most outstanding young musicians, as well as the scholarship of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2014).
Apart from her activity as a soloist, she often performs as a member of chamber ensembles.
